2/3 c Sugar
3 tb Flour
2 ½ c Milk
2 tb Butter
2 ts Vanilla Extract
Serve hot over buttered biscuits.

NO MACHINE
NECESSARY. 1/2 cup cold milk 1. Stir milk, vanilla, condensed milk and salt in a medium bowl. 2. Beat heavy cream in a large bowl with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form when beaters are lifted. 3. Gently fold in milk mixture. 4. Pour into shallow 1 1/2 - quart metal bowl or pan. 5. Cover and freeze at least 4 hours, stirring once after 2 hours or when edges start to harden. 6. Serve, or spoon into an air-tight container and freeze up to 1 week. Makes 6 cups (3 pints). |
